Honored to Receive an Honorable Mention!
I’m thrilled to share that my artwork “Rocky” the Raccoon has received an Honorable Mention in the 2025 Wildlife/Animal Competition with Art and Color 365 Magazine!
“Rocky” was created using a reference photo by Mark Lurther—thank you for capturing such a charming moment that inspired my piece. As part of the award, my work will be featured:
in an individual social media showcase
in the digital and print 2026 Winter editions of the magazine
in the online exhibition for a full year

The level of talent in this competition was incredible. Seeing the artists who won the main prizes has been hugely motivating and reminds me why I love creating wildlife art. Being included among such extraordinary artists is both humbling and inspiring—a real push to keep experimenting, learning, and growing.
A huge thanks to everyone who supports my art—friends, family, and all of you following my journey. Your encouragement fuels my creativity and keeps me going, even when I’m staring at Rocky for far too long!

Sometimes you enter a competition on a complete whim… and then life surprises you. This was one of those moments, and I couldn’t be more delighted. Not bad for an Honorable Mention, and I feel truly grateful for the recognition.
